Queenstown 2034 Winter Olympics Bra
The 2034 Winter Olympics will be hosted in Queenstown, New Zealand. The visual identity is centered on two deeply meaningful sources: the nation’s iconic Silver Fern and the richness of Māori culture. Widely used across national institutions, the Silver Fern evokes pride and emotional connection, reinforcing themes of unity and identity. The overall visual language conveys warmth, energy, and joy in alignment with Olympic values.
The mascot inspiration came from Disney’s Moana, reflecting Polynesian heritage and offering a familiar way for global audiences to engage with New Zealand’s cultural roots. A joint Disney–Olympics campaign featuring Hahana and Moana further promotes the event through a visually engaging and culturally resonant approach.
